PR Renewal - Birth Certificate Missing

Dear All,

I am preparing documents for my children PR renewal. One of my children who is under 18 is missing birth certificate who was born in his home country. I have copy of BC which is not in English and dont have the original copy. However, his PR card, Passport and school record shows his date of birth. As it is required to submit birth certicate, will CIC return his application if I don't submit BC. I have other documets which shows his DOB.

How did you do to have his passport and PR to be done before? because at that time you provide BC right? well if you see most people looking at that thread and not answering it's because you should have keep more copy of you son BC especially when you live in a very complex country like Canada. I advice you call CIC and ask them directly they might tell you if there is something to do.
