Hello All,
I have received a nomination for Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program on December 08, 2025. There is a issue with my birth certificate which has my last name in abbreviated form ('T' instead of Tatipudi) same for my father and mother names in the document. Would it be okay to submit my certificate with a letter of explanation along with my secondary school certificate where the names appear correct. I have my passport which has the right name and Aadhar card which is an identification document in my country. Until I wait for a new government issued birth certificate with full name, can I submit these supporting documents and submit my file.
Please advise if any of you faced similar issue. In this case, what steps have you taken to avoid any file returning.
Thank you in advance!
