One of my friend applied for pr renewal


We transferred your application to the local CIC office on March 10, 2013. The local CIC office may contact you.

So till now CIC didnt contact

Can he withdraw his application then complete the 730 days and apply for renewal

then ?

I asked him he said he had severe issues back home so he had to travel back home

So its humanatarion reasons

however his brother passed away and he didnt go bak stil he is in canada

Can he withdraw his application ?

and fill up the 730 days obligation ...

then apply for renewal?

So in the reason what shall he write ? cause he did withdraw 1st time regarding his personal reasons and now its the 2nd time and they already referred to the ST Clair Office ,

So this time what strong withdrawal reason shall he present like will it be withdrawal brother ?

they received withdrawal application on monday but it does not show online that

still says transferred

will they do investigation

It takes a while for them to update the website. They should accept his withdrawal. He just has to wait until he hears back.

my friend is so worried he was thinking wil he be in problem

Like I said, he is the maker of his own stress. He has already withdrawn. He needs to sit back and wait and think about why he applied in the first place when he did not meet the requirements.

A question today is april 24 they received the withdrawal application on april 15

so it pretty much looks like my friend is worried he was asking if for example his

withdrawal does not get accepted as his file was transferred to the local cic office

so withdrawing the application will he go to a lawyer ?

like he is so worried

brother what do you think since they received last april 15 now it is april 24 they

still did not update it so it is a negative ?
