In another thread I saw , one person received email from IRCC regarding PR card where they mentioned that their office is closed on Dec 20
So there will be no COPR issued today . Hope for the best for coming Monday or Tuesday . Again they are closed on 25 Dec

Oh they must be very busy preparing for the holiday, so much so, that they chose to take an additional day to make it like a long weekend! Totally understandable! After all we are just peasants! :)
 
hi everyone, have a question , I just received ecopr on 13 December, but my address was rejected yesterday because of po box number, my question is that is my copr still valid ? because its still showing on the pr portal and everywhere else my file is approved, please help.

COPR has nothing to do with your photo or address, it is issued because you declared that you are in Canada atm and regarding address rejection, you won’t receive your PR card until you submit correct address.

Hi everyone , How long does it take to receive portal one request?

Tracker is showing everything is completed on Dec 2nd but still i haven't received any email from IRCC.

Final decision - December 2, 2024:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made

Well usually it takes less than a week to Receive P1 after FD, my FD was on Aug 26 and on Aug 30th, I received Portal 1 but now it's slow because it's final month of the year and IRCC is usually very slow during this time so you can expect your P1 in the month of January.

Got it, do you think calling IRCC will help or i should just wait until January?
