The reason the dependent cannot travel, despite having a valid visa and e-COPR, is that the landing procedure for the primary applicant has not been finalized.

Dependent may travel by using another type of pre-approved visa. i.e. Visitor

Landed virtually and submitted my photos yesterday

Got the PR confirmation email and eCOPR a day later today!


Now just wait on my son's passport PR visa stamp returned to him

But we have months to spare thanks to you
Although that region has always been quick with visas and passort returns in the past with my wife

P1- Nov 16 2023(was outside of Canada so sent updated info on 13 Dec 2023)
P2- Dec 21 2023( got after replying to P1 email for 2-3 days)
Submitted photo and address on same day of P2
Waiting for eCOPR
COPR expiry- 12 Nov 2024
VO- Montreal

I need eCOPR to submit to my university by 19 Jan 2024 to change my status to domestic student and I explained that by sending email to Montreal office email plus to all offices email and got only reply from Etobicoke that this is not assigned office to your application. I send them several webform as well to explain my situation and call them several time but agent said they cannot send message to office and have to wait in queue. MP office also reach to IRCC but same reply cannot count this as emergency.
Any suggestions that you think I can try to get my eCOPR before 19 Jan? Will appreciate your replies.

Portal 1 ( VO Montreal) - 29-Dec-23
Portal 2 - Awaited
eCOPR - Awaited
PR Card - Awaited

My dependent travelled out of Canada after P1. Do I need to change the response of my dependent's presence in Canada for P2? Shall I wait for the eCOPR to initiate the PRTD process? Please advise.

Today I called IRCC. She told me that my PVO - Ottawa and SVO - Etobicoke. I received my P1 from Montreal.
how do we know which VO is processing my PR?
Below are my timelines:

1. AOR - Jan 2023
2. All are green in the tracker - 24th Nov 2023
3. Final Decision date - 1st Dec 2023
4. P1 - 1st Dec 2023
5. COPR number and expiry date update in tracker - 4th Dec 2023
6. P2 - waiting

Did you get P2 yet? Received P1 8th Dec and still waiting

I got my GU2 on 10-Jan-2024. But only my PR card application has been mailed and my daughters is still under processing.
I can not find any update on my wife's PR Card application.

After completion of all stages , Medical expiry is checked again and if needed extended to issue copr because copr expiry is same as medical expiry date.
