PR confirmation portal timelines

As my son is in India and wife too, I responded on 25th Aug-2023 about their correct status. Since, my wife is taking cancer treatment in India and completing soon, my son went to her in India and is coming soon as his university (UBC, Vancouver) has started and wife will come in Oct-2023. They both are not in my portal and I sent email yesterday about their status again and asked to give 'Ready for VISA - Passport Request' for my wife and decided to inform IRCC through email & webform about my son's arrival when he will be here. Hope this will work to get their COPR & eventually PR.

Then they either need to be physically here to get their portals or wait to see if they will do what you sent them will result in something.

If you told IRCC on portal 1 that they were not in Canada and informed the dates they will be back, then maybe they will reach out once they’re here.

And I hope your wife is doing okay with the treatment!

Posting update.

I just recieved portal 2 for my wife few minutes ago. Haven't recieved mine yet. Only see confirmation tab for my wife. Maybe they are going to send mine soon since it only has been a few minutes?

My portal 1 was 29th aug (replied same day)

Hang in there guys! It takes a lot of patience and prayers but eventually we will all received it..

Inland Primary did not get Portal 1 Email [ Pre Portal ]
Calls to IRCC Reveal Portal 1 was sent Aug 23 but nothing was received
Spouse sends Passport to Stamp and awaits decision
Inland Primary calls IRCC Daily - Aug 25th Request placed to resend Portal 1
Aug 28 - VO Montreal acknowledges
Sep 8 - Inland Primary received Portal 2 !

Exactly… am waiting since 27 Aug.. I got Portal 2 on 27 Aug..

Read previous replies. A few people got portal 2 today who had portal 1 on aug 28 or aug 29. My portal 1 was aug 29. Got portal 2 for dependent today (sept 8), but didn't get it yet for me (principal applicant)
