PR confirmation portal timelines

Hello all, Uploaded my photo and address on Sep 11 and waiting since then. Any idea like why it's taking so long? I even tried reaching out by phone, but it says the waiting time is high and gets disconnected. Any idea on how to connect with them? should I make a call or have my town Mayor write an email to IRCC? Please advise.

My VO is Montreal.

My husband is the applicant and it only has his name on it and state if he's already landed the depandants should follow the steps.

Hi Guys,

Just joining in. I have been looking at this page almost every day, hoping to get an update and motivation to stay patient as there are people who are still waiting for their 2 portal request. But the day goes by and so does my hope. Waiting for my ECoPR since Sept 15th via Montreal VO.

Hey all, once the pr portal is created does it mean application approved? On mycic account the final decision and background check shows in progress so not sure whether they are still doing background check which is causing the delay in ecopr issuance. Please advise. Thanks

Yes, technically it is approved. You just need to wait for eCoPR now

The "Updated Date" in my tracker updated to today's date but I can't see anything that changed in the history. Should I take it as a good sign that I'll be receiving my eCOPR soon? Been waiting since September 8.

You just never know how many ghost updates it takes for them to finally give a decision but I hope you get it soon

Same, I also got a ghost update on the tracker today. Previous update was on Sept 15. However, still no eCOPR today. But it does mean someone looked at our applications for some reason. Why won't they send the eCOPR if they opened the application already. Waiting since Aug 28.

From what I've heard, for most people the photo stays 'in review' even though they receive their cards. Did you link the card application to GCKey? Might get some more info there. But I think they should email you regardless when the card is dispatched.

No, I don't. How do I do it? My "Permanent Resident PR Card" tab is not even active. I do have gckey account with my pr application, but there are no updates there at all
