Applied for inland Spousal Sponsorship - April 14th 2022
Asked for medical and biometrics - August 20th 2022 (completed within 1 week)
Received email confirming my PR was approved - Sept 22nd 2022
Declared my presence in Canada, updated address and uploaded picture into portal - Sept 22nd 2022
Additional information required - photocopy of passport - Nov 7th 2022
Called IRCC Client Support Centre - Nov 17th 2022 - they said it's not part of their department, there is a separate department that deals with COPR and they will leave a note on my file to say I called. Suggested I email.
Wrote a passive aggressive email to IRCC Calgary (replied to the email address which asked me for my additional information) - Nov 17th 2022
Their reply to my email = "Given our current processing capacity, there will be significant delays in processing the high volume of landings. At this time we are unable to provide an approximate timeline for your PR Portal invitation email and/or for your Virtual Landing.
Please note: Follow-up inquiries will not be responded to."
Still waiting for eCOPR.....

Why should it take 2.5 months or more just to send an email with a document?
I arrived on a visitor visa during COVID in 2020 so I have not been able to work for 2 years. We cannot survive like this. Why is there so much of a hold up on this? Just getting very frustrated and annoyed and upset and disheartened.

I got the exactly same copied and pasted email from "Client Service Unit – West Landings" just an hour ago.
My case, I applied in April as a outland applicant.
Then I requested Change of Address in November 16th as I'm currently in Canada.
Hopefully they are kidding us. ...........................................
or Hopefully it's the indication that we are almost done

Any trick to connect agent no matter what time I call never got connected

I got one email from Etobicoke IRCC , they said my application currently in Q for landing process in upcoming weeks. I got portal entry email from Calgary VO. I am confused now

Hi everyone,
I got rfv request letter for my outland spouse. It says to submit pasport after primary applicant is landed.
I haven’t gotten a portal invite whatsoever.
I am not sure when i will get it.
However , the request letter says dependent spouse must be valid for at least 6 months.
My spouse passport is currently valid for 8 months and renewing passport in my home country can be lengthy.
Do you advise he just goes ahead and submit passport even though i haven’t gotten landing email or do i email etobicoke landing to request portal invite and explain my situation?
I appreciate your response.

Hello All, Trust everyone is well. I need help to know if anyone is in same situation as i am and what should be next steps. You feedback is very much appreciated.

eCOPR: June 2021 via the portal
Address verification: completed via portal June 2021
Photo validation: uploaded in June 2021 but till date today Dec 2022, it still shows under IRCC review
VO: Etobicoke

Called IRCC multiple times and received info stating PR card is in printing or we don't know we will check or wait for online status to be updated....... NO CLEAR ANSWER what the issue with my PR card is.

I had to travel to India in Nov 2021 and now i am stuck here since a year.

My question:
1--Is there any one here who is in same situation that PR card is still not received after over a year?
2--Any suggestions on how to get the photo validated?
3--Should i apply for PRTD and come back? how long does it take to get PRTD based on current situation at Dec 2022?

You can apply for PRTD, Sometimes they sent PR card in our mailing address but Portal showing review.

I haven’t got an official AOR email. But Medicals are done and have the COPR number on the tracker. And everything else says completed. Is anyone else in the same boat?
