June 13, 2025 same as my passport and PGWP, lmao. No longer bound to that anymoreeeeee!Hope so! Do you mind sharing what your COPR expiry month was?
Sure, I will. My AOR was July 28th, P2 was Oct 30...still waiting. I called them yesterday only to get response please wait !!A few trickled it but not much. It seems most of the people who were very anxious have received.
Kindly share your good news to motivate those of us still waiting.
Hi...thanks for this great information. I intend to travel to the US on 20th January and return to canada on 3rd Feb. It is for emergency and I honestly need to go. My p2 submitted on 2nd December and waiting for eCOPR. Will that be consider that as long period to be away?If you have a visa and your stay is going to be brief then you can visit. But if you are staying long, you may need to contact IRCC so that the cancel your eCOPR and send you a visa to return. With that you can get your COPR at the border. However, if you have waited up to this stage, then I think you should just complete it and get all you need so that can travel with peace of mind. Remember that it will take more time to reroute your application.
You are staying for about 14 days. Two weeks is a lot but considering that not so much is happening with issuance of eCOPR (as in the process is not moving fast), you may want to risk it. But call IRCC and inform them that your are traveling and won't be back until Feb 3 so that they will delay sending your eCOPR. The reason is once your eCOPR is issued, you visa will be cancelled. So you may need to let IRCC know.Hi...thanks for this great information. I intend to travel to the US on 20th January and return to canada on 3rd Feb. It is for emergency and I honestly need to go. Yours too should be coming soon. I hate that there are no clear procedure that applicants know about so everyone is left to just speculate. Systems like this should be highly transparent IMO.74 Days since P2 & Counting !
Mine expires July 6, 2025 and I have not even received it.June 13, 2025 same as my passport and PGWP, lmao. No longer bound to that anymoreeeeee!
Yo literally the same expiry date of my current passport and eCoPR. Even the day match - June 13, 2025. I already submitted for a new passport using my eCoPR as a current status in Canada with my country's consulate!June 13, 2025 same as my passport and PGWP, lmao. No longer bound to that anymoreeeeee!
Based on what I’ve observed, I feel like AOR date matters a lot in addition to the expiration date of your COPR.
Most people that I’m seeing who’ve received their eCOPR recently (regardless of their P2 date) had their AOR as somewhere between May/June/July/August. They seem to be clearing the backlog based on AOR as a result.
So it seems like someone could theoretically, for example, have their P2 on Jan 14th and receive eCOPR today (Jan 15th) given that their AOR was in June and that it got filtered directly ahead in the queue. This might explain all the inconsistencies in the P2 to eCOPR issuance timelines.
This is just a pattern I’ve observed & wanted to share!
Now you see how crazy the system works. Your AOR and mine were on the same date (September 6). I got P2 November 27 and responded same day. Your P2 was December 13. You got eCOPR on Jan 10, I am still here waiting. So it is extremely difficult to tell how IRCC selects who get issued eCOPR and who waits longer.Y'alls should be soon, AT BEST end of January. That is also possible. Because each VO may have its timeline depending on the number of applications that they are handling.I think that’s something to do with the VO. Each VO is probably consistent within itself
yes they try to close the profile in under 6 months but now they have reduced it to 5 months tho for CEC and still 6 months for PNP Express Entry, in my case the profile was closed under less than 5 months from AOR to COPR and under 6 months if i consider PR Card delivery also but I know it's not included.
Use this to track the application timelines! How do u know they have reduced it to 5 months for CEC? Is that written somewhere?
