BG_2012 said:Hi Everyone. We made an outland application for me (born in Canada) to sponsor my wife (Belarusian) through the Warsaw office. Sent in the application Sept 6, 2012. I got the letter saying I was approved as a sponsor Oct 17, 2012. If I check the online status of the application, it says only that the application was received and they have the medical forms from my wife. What will happen next? How long did you have to wait to get some kind of letter or acknowledgement from Warsaw? Has anyone got any idea if the process is more or less than the 8 months posted on the CIC website? Thank you all for your help, and I hope everyone's applications are proceeding smoothly.

I just joined the November 2012 applicants thread and thought I would check in here also. We just sent our application from Warsaw to Mississauga yesterday by UPS.
I was told over the phone from a representative of the visa office in Warsaw who said that for family class applications, she expected the processing time would most likely be significantly less than the 7-8 month estimate I have seen elsewhere. She said that the Warsaw office process family class applications on a priority basis.
I also have a couple of tips about getting translations done in Warsaw, if anyone is trying to figure it all out. Will check in here again to post how things go.
