I wonder which of the statements that I said are you considering untrue.

Untrue that criminality is part of the background check?

Untrue that It could happen before or after PAL?

Untrue that I saw in another thread that the reason AOR takes a long time is that they also do a background check before they send the AOR? You don't believe that I saw something in another thread?

Untrue that I am unsure of that?

It's not fair for you to do a sweeping assumption.

I think you should go for upfront medical it will definitely help
I have similar timelines like you, but got my BIL last week. No medicals as yet. An immigration lawyer advised that its best to get it later to avoid expiration of the medical report. My PR is set to be complete by MAR 2022. If by JUL/AUG I dont get my Medicals, I will do an upfront and submit it via a Webform.

Yes u r right my criminality was passed right after 2 days of my AOR receipt so its obvious that they did background check before issuing AOR
If I may ask, how did you know you had passed your criminality/background check. Does IRCC send you an update on the same

I hope they speed up Paper based applications. Although not confirmed by IRCC, I heard that applications for the May 6th streams, might be processed in 6 months. It won't be fair on us who've waiting since last year

Congratulation ...Just a quick question question --How do you get to know the status changed from in process to DM .Do you see this when you login GCKey and top of the screen .in application status?
I checked in the ECAS portal and in my GCKey nothing changed
