I am running on 21 month , even MP can’t help , I tried thau way too, they told me to wait for 3 months for no reason.

Oct 2016, similar situation. MP just emailed me back that your security background check is in process. nothing else

I did. They keep telling the same thing as the cic agent told me.
Always in final review. Already a month! still in final review...

When I called them they told me to wait for another 3 months , at that time my security was not initiated.
