Hi I have crossed the 14 month mark for pr processing, recieved my medicals on 19th December, will be doing them on 22nd December, what are the next steps after medical and how much longer do I have to wait for PPR? I am October 21st applicant. Please help

Hmmm, odd then. I am not sure why both of us listed on this application didn't get one yet. Does different nationalities matter? I wouldn't think it would make a difference as everyone is required to take.

Our second IMM1017 showed up this morning, so we got both of them now. So for those who may also be waiting for multiple ones for all dependents listed under your primary applicant, give it a day or two.

Were you able to get an open work permit at the border? I was made to understand you can only get a closed work permit at the border. How true is that?

yes, rules have been changed, now you can only able to get closed at the boarder. If you want to apply for bridging you need to apply online

I hope they it will be only few months after medicals as my few of my friends been waited for 8 months to get PPR. And still one is waiting 11 month post Medical.
