My view/findings on upfront MR:

I also enquired about it but the UCI is not recognized by the doctor offices. So what they are telling is that we can do it but they put it as upfront and if we have vo allocated then we can send the copy or wait till we get IME then they will attach it once we get IME.

So ultimately what i see is that they can help now but not really useful. We dont know the vo and we dont have IME hence we will have to wait.
If you are outland then you can do it and send the scan copy to them which they will process in few days/weeks but thinking we cant even do it if we are inland.

This one would be useful if one has travel plans and to avoid any delay we can just do it and keep it and then ask doctor to send it once IME is received but for many of us this method may not seem that much effective or saving much time.

I got my EP 16 of July. inland case. I think the MR should come in 1 or 2 months. If the validity is more than 2 months, I'd like to do the Medical examination upfront. Thanks again!

just checked online my cic account for my work permit application and its says my work permit application has been approved. now I guess I have to wait until I get actual WP paper. I applied WP on MAY 5 2015 and after long 4 mnths I got answer back in my favor. I applied for closed WP with LMIA-exempt, compliance fee, pnp approval letter, pnp support letter etc etc

Any news?? About medical?? March applicant here, waiting for medical. Filed received was on 25th march, EP received on 3july. Anyone in same situation??

Validity is 1 year. Visa will also be issued till this medical expiry date.

I did the finger print on sep15 and rcmp office told me that they sent the result out on sep 16. I am in ontario and it's already been a week long.

canada post regular mail really sucks!!!!!!!

Should I request another finger print? Plz share your experience, thank you.

nothing for mine as well. I did my medical on Sept. 11. got reminder email on Sept. 14. paid RPRF on Sept. 15. but when I try to access ecas using the receipt number for RPRF, it will already allow me to sign in. Did you guys try the access your ecas using the receipt number for your RPRF?

I tried to login with my rprf recipt number but its not allowed me to login.
Even i paid my RPRF on 15 September .... What should i do??

What email address did you send your receipt for rprf to? You should print the receipt, fill it out, scanned it and email it.

I sent mine to CPPO-Cost-Recovery @ cic.gc.ca and CIO-Cost-Recovery @ cic.gc.ca

I included application number, UCI, full name, date of birth, and place of birth.

It takes time for few requests. This fee is needed before they issue visa. So its not going to slow down the process.
