Just spoke with an agent. She said medical will probably be extended, no need to worry. However I am worried because eligibility, security even haven't started, criminality in still process (according to another agent last week criminality was done - so I am confused here....). She didn't think I will be finishing the process within 30 days as progress bar shows

No, I didn't. I was told last week criminality done, all is I have knew. And I am quite upset and angry right now.
man, that sucks. but I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. they always say something haven't started, and the next day they will tell you it's already finished. I wish you were right!!!! As I said last week the agent told me criminality done and now she told me it's still in process.. pffff
like myself , I called them last Thursday , and they told me security haven't started . and I got a GU this Monday , I called them on Tuesday they told me security passed . what kind of check will take just one day , 2 tops? just relax buddy.

They were having technical difficulties at their end since they had this ivr message
Correct me if i am wrong.What i know is that immediately after passing eligibility theu send filea to CBSA for security.so you guys passed eligibility last year...may be it was backlogs of CBSA with all those refugge claimant thats why i took lots of time.....
I have no idea. I was told both times eligibility haven't even started. But why they send us get medical without eligibility passed? Eligibility should be the first and base of starting the whole process, no?
eligibility and medical, just those two , they will wait for each other . check the GCMS note and everybody will find they always have the same date for passed. if IRCC got the result for one and not the other one , they will wait for both of those two and put the same date on them .
well, security is not done by just CBSA, CSIS have their part as well . but I do believe you are right about the backlog, since the resource is limited after all.
What i think for you guys who passed eligibility last year...cbsa misplaced your files...or cic created backlogs by finalising eligibiity just in 6-8 months what do u think
