haha, me too! just call them, security check in processing.

So just to clarify Security screening/Security and Background check is all the same. But in some cases CSIS is involved by CBSA, that is when the application takes more time to process.
You can get to know about the security update by ordering CBSA and CSIS notes.

I think it has been a slow week this week.
I think I received a Ghost update with the change in progress bar but nothing since then... I am not even sure if it was an actual ghost update. I phone cic few times to see if my security check is done but never got connected. Does anyone have a good news to share with the rest of us?

I just called CIC I passed the security and they request medical extension on May 10 2019

no you don't, that's part of the reason why they are called " ghost update". you never know it's there unless you see it with your own eyes , and it's gone when you blink ...

Because when I called yesterday the lady said there is no notification by officer on your file for medical extension or anything so I am hoping everything goes fine hoping for the best

When is your AR date and when the medical expire. Normally they will extend your medical couple weeks before expire
