Hi everyone,

Today I got golden email - passport request email. My time line is:

Received by CIC: Sep 28, 2017
AOR : Nov 2,2017
Pre-Arrival: April, 2018
MP : July, 2018
Ghost update: Jan 21, 2019
DM and PPR at the same time : Feb 11, 2019.

I have a small concern is that I am renewing my passport because it will expired soon. I will get it in around 10 days and still meet the deadline of CIC. Do you know if I have to update their new passport numbers in my application through Case Specific Enquiry (which will take 7-10 days) before sending our passports to CIC? or I can submit directly submit our passports (including both renewed and expired ones) to CIC?

I had a similar situation. I did not update them with new passport number. I just submitted the new and old (they are attached together)

I phone back in December 2018 and they told me that its not started. I then phone back a couple a days ago and it’s the same thing.
Hopefully it does not take too long once it’s started

All Nov and Dec applicants can legit chill lol. Some September applicants haven’t even received their ghost updates yet. So just sit back and relax!

ECAS shows "Decision Made" and I received the instructions (via email) to send my passport.

I am Sep 23, 2017 applicant (AOR: Oct 23, 2017). Best of luck guys!

I am sep 11, 2017. Waiting for the PPR and DM. Did you check if you have ghost update? I got a ghost update today after the initial ghost update in Dec last year. Though in ECAS it shows in process .I am thinking that the PPR is coming hence the update.

Congratulations! did you check the online tool? it updates on daily basis.
