Hi everyone,

Today I got golden email - passport request email. My time line is:

Received by CIC: Sep 28, 2017
AOR : Nov 2,2017
Pre-Arrival: April, 2018
MP : July, 2018
Ghost update: Jan 21, 2019
DM and PPR at the same time : Feb 11, 2019.

I have a small concern is that I am renewing my passport because it will expired soon. I will get it in around 10 days and still meet the deadline of CIC. Do you know if I have to update their new passport numbers in my application through Case Specific Enquiry (which will take 7-10 days) before sending our passports to CIC? or I can submit directly submit our passports (including both renewed and expired ones) to CIC?

We have exactly same timeline!! We probably processed by same VO
as well as 4 lines...

I don’t hope for it but I’m quite certain we’re getting nothing until April when we call them to express our frustration. That’s when they will expedite it since it’ll be 19 months then. I do hope that it doesn’t happen and we get our PPRs today!! Lol

Yeah, I wonder what's going to happen if our medicals expire. It's 600$ expense and I got request from THEM; it's not our fault that they won't finish our applications on time.

I don’t think we will have to re do our medicals. My friend whose medical was only done in June 2018 got a remedical request a few days ago. Nobody knows why. But I’m sure we won’t have to

I called CIC and they said thant my medical criminality and eligibility passed but security not started...
Is it normal cos it’s already almost 15 months and security even not started yet... is anybody in same situation?

Application received: Nov 6 2017
Eligibility: passed
Medical: Passed
Criminality: passed
Security: not started

I phone back in December 2018 and they told me that its not started. I then phone back a couple a days ago and it’s the same thing.
Hopefully it does not take too long once it’s started
