Just curious, but how many times a day are you guys checking ECAS? I think I probably check at least 5 or 6. I know that's totally irrational, but I can't help it!

Also, yesterday was exactly one month from my medicals being received. Looking forward to Tuesday for a hopeful status update. 8)

thinking positive is a good thing to do at the moment
but my idea is CIC is working on september/october this whole month..i am expecting that they ll start working on Nov/Dec applicants by/after first week of July 2015.
July will go on for this batch of Nov/Dec/Jan (Cic works in Quarterly) for requesting additional documentation..establishing relationships..police clearances..RPRF..and by end of July..early August some applicants ll go "in Process"...those whose IPs are delayed they ll get IP and DM within the same week...and then by September random PPR will be issued,)
so far the analysis of fourQuarters...in a year..: 1- Feb...March...April (first quarter).2-May..June..July ( second quarter)... August..September..October (third quarter)...4- Nov..
Dec..Jan.. ( fourth quarter )..anybody agree)? or you guys hold a diff perspective

I think that's very accurate, and that's pretty much what I'm thinking too. But I'm still checking multiple times every day, LOL.

really good calculation i have question i apply for work permit extension in month of march28TH till that time my file no waas not come i also got medical recived updated in ECA that is on 2Oth of May ,,,,,,I have not yet received any thing did any one on the same position pls let me know .....what would be the option available for me if it gets refused....pls help me

Very good!
But dont forget about vacation during summer which could slow down the current processing times and mess up the calculation.

Hey Buddy,

You may still be a newcomer to understand the "system"
CIC is not a summer school...it is administration...and administration is run by management...to transfer employees frm one dept to the other...where required...
Summer has nothing to do with CIC

Hi. I am also waiting for approval of the extension of my work permit. Applied on March 18. First time I applied my application was refused but i could still continue working as my old work permit was still valid. So if you get refused and your old/current work permit is still valid, you need to reapply ASAP to be on IMPLIED STATUS. So if you reapply before you work permit expires you are fine and can continue working. If the second time you apply and you get refused then you need to stop working that moment and will be in RESTORATION period. I dont know the answer to my application yet (even tho they're working on applications sent after March 20) cos they asked me for additional documents from AINP office and only gave me 5 business days to get it. I got it in the last minute, uploaded it and now waiting again..

Hey Michelle888 my WP got expired on 22nd of may ......but i applied for extension on 28th of March that time mt AINP and work permit time was valid but today both is not valid ..........i attached support letter from AINP I DONT KNOW ON WHAT GROUND THEY CAN REFUSED ALSO WHEN I APPLIED FOR extension that time my file number was not generated so i applied with all procedure of new rule which got change for emplyoer with $230 fees so i dont know i will get close or open.......watever but i need to get this....waiting is horrible....
