Perhaps not one way tickets just yet unless we can wrap everything up in the next couple of months

After the non-results in December, my husband and I had actually set our minds to only getting PPR in March and therefore have started some new ventures that cannot just be abandoned right away
.. sooooo..... will see what can be done

Just currently relieved and happy, that is all

So it is just your personal delays. But from CIC point of view - PPR is last stage with stamp and you could go anytime you want?
P.S.

I am still in the beginning of my way Hopefully EOI wil be opened in 2-3 weeks like last year!

It came through late in the evening UAE time... around 2pm Canadian time, I think

Anytime BEFORE the medicals expire. That is why we intend to make a soft landing so we can least get the PR cards and stamps sorted

Sorry I have been so scarce lately everyone..... It was just a very busy few weeks since around the 3rd week of December until now

I am VERY VERY VERY HAPPY to announce.................................................. I GOT THE PPR REQUEST EMAIL LAST NIGHT!!!

Alhumdulillah ...after all the stress and anxiety....

Just over 4 months of waiting........

@NzKhn, i had my passport stamped last 13Jan2019. Now planning to land on June 2019. Do you know if Fredericton International Airport (YFC) caters or process new immigrant for a first time entry? or should we enter in Toronto or Quebec as a port of entry? Because I was planning to fly via JFK then proceed to Fredericton. Not sure if YFC airport process new immigrants.

I think we need to enter through Toronto or Quebec for the processing.... Last I checked, Fredericton doesnt have the facilities for processing

Btw, did you send your passports through the Abu Dhabi VAC? For some reason my PPR email says I need send my passports through the London UK office so I was just wondering if they have messed up somewhere...

London VO sent us an email asking if where we are in Philippines or in UAE so that they can send the formal request letter. We told them we are in Abu Dhabi. Then the next day we receive the formal request. The visa was printed here in Abu Dhabi but in the Visa it says issued in Manila. My Visa expiry is on 29Aug
