Just wondering, if my spouse will need to get her education assessed? I will be applying under CEC? Did not find any information regarding that?I found that principle applicant under CEC do not need to have ECA.

If I am not wrong, you are calculating your score without IELTS? Although, IELTS is not a mandatory, but must have document.

Actually my IELTS score is very low...

L: 4.5
S:6.5
R: 5.5
W: 6

I got total 24 points of IELTS what u think guys....

Please provide reference.

EE is not giving much information for the married applicant to consider their spouse or not while calculating CRS.

I thnik it shall be left to applicant wisdom to decide whether considering the spouse in EE application

You have to apply with spouse( if you have a spouse) regardless of whether you are claiming point for the spouse. :-)

If you want to count spouse points, then yes.

You apply into EE, CIC will tell you what stream you have to enter FSWP or CEC.

True. CIC recommends ECA to increase your chances; for FSWP.

Hi all,

My score is 423 out of 600. I am a software engineer from chennai. India. Please let me know the chances of getting visa through EE. And how to apply for territory/province nominations?

Thanks,

I think this ranking system explains enough. I might be wrong but there are two different scoring for with and without spouse.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

Based on my understanding, if you have a spouse, you have a spouse, and you need to calculate your points using the second point factor.

I would think that this is to give the single applicant same advantage as applicant with spouse who can earn the spouse point. That means, for two people with spouse who are having the same score without the spouse factor, one who can claim the spouse factor will have better score than the one whose spouse has no point. This will ensure that both the primary applicant and dependent/spouse have greater possibility to contribute to the Canada Economy.

LMO is not enough to get 600 points. You need LMIA./
I myself have LMO but am not counting on those 600 points unfortunately.

Bro there are no difference between LMO or LMIA.. I do not know why you are so confused..

Tell that to CIC agent.
I called them to clear that thing if you will get 600 points with LMO and they say no.
You need LMIA.
