Hi everyone,

I completed my m.pharm and working in production Department from last 5 year.
My question is
1. I can do my education assessment through WES ? or PEBC is compulsory?.

2. As 3131 is not in demand list, can i apply through 0911? my csr score is 380.

Hi, I don't think that PEBC evaluates M.Pharma, it only evaluates B. Pharma & for masters you will have to get the ECA done from other agencies like WES or IQAS. So In my opinion yopu should not consider PEBC.. still am not 100% sure, experts can put a light on this further.

Dear all!

The regulatory dept. or job in pharmaceutical industry falls into which NOC?

Does NOC 3131 lead to rejection.?

Thank you very much for the response
.
Please help me with your reply on this query. I too have same concerns here. I am an industrial pharmacist but I am not sure if i put my NOC 3131 whether PEBC required or not. I done my ECA from WES already. Please help.

We applied under NOC 3131, with my wife as principal applicant, 4 years of industrial pharmacist experience.

Application received 30 Aug 2010 and cashed 15 Sep 2010, now that post-June-26 have started getting AORs we are hopeful of getting one before Christmas.

Wayne.
Need a help from you. I am too an industrial phrmacist, I am confused whether my ECA should be completed by PEBC or WES. Please advise.

As per my understanding since I am an industrial pharmacist not required PEBC . So ECA from WES should suffice.

Would really suggest investigating the job market for pharmacy jobs if you plan on practice and I would suggest living in smaller more remote communities. Canada has dramatically increased the amount of pharmacist it graduates in the past 10 years and there is actually downward pressure on salaries in places like Toronto.

ok. One more query i have, I have done my Diploma and Bachelor's degree assessed by ECA which is 2 years equivalency for diploma and 4 years for bachelors dgree. So what option should i select as my highest qualification.

I guess it should be "two or more diplomas or degree certificates and one is more than 3 years or more" that option. please advise.

Hi guys,
I have a query regarding 1. scope of pharmacist in Canada. Can I upgrade it once I land there 2. I hold a diploma in pharmacy completed in 2007 from India. But I never followed that stream, rather switched on to complete Masters in chemistry and B.ed and eventually landed in teaching profession and currently teaching in a government department for the last 8yrs. But I still hold a valid practicing license although I don't have any practical experience. So now my concern is I want my credentials to be evaluated ; should I include my D.pharma or not. Will that be useful as an edge for getting oinp nomination. I actually don't want to be doing teaching in Canada rather would like to be a pharmacist as it's more lucrative ;) I suppose. Any help/reply will be highly appreciated
Thanks

Unfortunately you are unlikely to get onip as a pharmacist because there isnit a demand for pharmacist in Ontario. There is a surplus actually.
