Passports to Accra Visa Office !

On 9th November 2021, Status on GCKey changed to Approved with Counterfoil for PA and dependants.

Hope they return passports on time.

I sent my passport documents for Canada PR to Accra Ghana through DHL , DHL notified me it has been delivered but I have not heard anything from Accra Ghana.
Pls how do I receive it back

I was asked to send my passport documents straight to Accra through DHL which I did and it was delivered on 1st Nov.2021 but since then, I have not heard anything from Accra...pls someone help me.
Question : should I pay VFS for them to return the document since i sent it by myself.

No I did not...I sent it straight to Accra Ghana..
Do u have VFS Accra email address maybe I can message them..or what should I do as I sent it directly as told by the migration officer in Accra

Thanks but I can’t stay calm thinking that my passport has probably been dumped and forgotten somewhere in their office or lost in transit. This people should be dealing with people’s package with a sense of urgency. This batch thing makes no sense to me. At the end of the day someone that submitted his/her passport later than me will receive theirs and VFS will still be speaking the same grammar anytime I call.
There should be a systematic way to which they handle packages/passports they receive on a daily basis. As soon as a passport come in, they should endeavor to push it out for processing ASAP, by the time they start waiting for it to pile up they start getting confused and by that time they start mixing up up and people that first submitted theirs first gets left behind.

Omo, I don’t even know again. This thing don tire me. I keep refreshing my mail every 2 minutes hoping to get something from them.

They can't send passports on a daily basis because they'll have to courier it to Accra which is generally expensive, I'm sure its done in batches because it'll be cheaper to do.
People that send straight to Accra pay about 70k-72k, they courier directly to Accra to avoid the delay caused by batching, and also pay VFS Accra for transmission & courier back to Nigeria.

Sending to VFS Lagos is cheap. Because you did biometrics with them, they'll cover the transmission cost. You'll only pay 3,800 (if you're in Lagos & using UPS) and the money is for the courier company that'll give it to them and return to you.

What I think they should do is have both option in VFS Lagos so people can choose the free one or not.

you should have mailed them, did you send to vfs Accra or IRCC Accra? did you pay the transmission fee, about411 cedis?

I've not experienced or witnessed this kind of situation before, so you can do more research on passports sent directly to the high commission, & I don't know if the high commission attends to the passports sent there directly,

The normal process is to send through VFS and they'll monitor it for you.

Try engaging DHL that you sent to the wrong address to see if they can collect it back, then have them deliver it to VFS Accra, by then you should have engaged VFS Accra and explain the situation to them.

OR Also try explaining to VFS Accra to see if they can do something about a passport sent to the high commission.
