Received an update email from CIC today however it was updated yesterday

What kind of update email was that? was it for application approved?

Hello everyone,

thanks for your all great support. Finally reached the destintion.

I did my landing process in Halifax by Air. I have been living in Alberta , Calgary and I travelled to US (Virginia) for 10 days vacation and while coming back I went to Halifax and finished the landing process and applied SIN and driving license in Halifax.

The immigration officers are so friendly. Today I got CIC update email and when I check my CIC , it says :Back ground check is COMPLETE and application has been approved "
