Does any1 know once they request your passport how long will it take after to receive your visa !!! This is family class sponsorship?? Passport was mailed by DHL TO AMMAN...Will they email you to let you know that yor passport ready to pick up?? When they receive it will they actually let u know or u just kinda have to wait till you hear from them If anyone know

It is different for every vo, for example I posed the same question when we got our ppr, and the experts in my thread said 1-4 weeks we would get back the visa, sure enough by 2 weeks, my husband had the pp back with visa in it. They did not contact him to let him know it was coming back, they had requested a dhl slip to be sent with the pp so that they could send it back. He recieved it back via the courier, with no further communication from our visa office. But I do believe if your are picking it up they call you. I dont think they let you know that they got it. when they have asked from u about documents update ???
i mean how long did it take by the embassy from documents update to passport request
 
I am not sure, we were never asked for documents update, the original marriage and birth certificate were requested along with the ppr.

should i have include the original marriage certificate then??
 
# 14 on checklist says photocopy of ur marriage certificate**

**also he only has one original birth certificate which i just sent in along with his application*


oh well...not like i should start getting up in arms from now cause lord knows its gonna be a long ass wait as it.
 
In the application you supposed to send in copies, but if you sent in originals then thats ok, because they will not request it again since they have it. They only requested originals with the ppr, because we sent copies. It just to verify. We got everything back.
 
ok, only original i sent in of anything was his Birth paper...but marriage one a copy.

That's fine. Did u photocopy it for your records?
