Hi,

I have applied for my parents back in 2011 and I know that I wont be hearing back from Immigration for some time.

But, I was just wondering if anybody can post the document request list that sponsors/parents get once they get response back from CIC.

This would just help me to understand what documents they ask for and I have heard from somebody that CIC generally gives a very limited time to provide those documents.

im back again, this morning at 9:20am i visited vfs nehru place to collect our envelope
so posting u mine COPR, and visas:
visa's was stamped on 6th jan and cic ecase updated on 9th jan(decision made,
& VFS-GLOBAL RECEIVED DOCX, PASSPORT, CORP ON 8TH JAN
)
COLLECTED THIS MORNING ON 10TH JAN

Hi Nabeel

Yes my timeline and yours are very similar. I got my request for medicals on December 9th 2013 and my status show in process from December 4th 2013. I have not received a request for additional doc, passport nor police record as yet.
Just be patient a little longer. You will hear from them soon

I will try to find and scan the document checklist later today or tomorrow. But basically the forms are exactly the same as they were earlier. The only difference is that the cic asks for the option c for 2 years - the year of your application was filed and the preceding year.

1st of all if you're under 22 they will not ask about ur studies,
i was in BSC-MM from PTU is ugc approved and my center was picasso animation colege south-ex, which is collaborated with centinial college toronto, its a vfx-animation(visal effect) & film making degree course,
2011 to 2014

after my 10+2 i did some diploma courses related to Multimedia(photoshop, autodesk 3ds max, maya, z-brush, adobe suite and more) and webdesigning(html,jquery, asp,css and more)


now i have to join a specialization degree couser in vancouver from vfs(vancouver film school)

Thanks Suin, I will look forward to the checklist that you will send. I see that you have filed application in May 2010, have you heard back since the document request?

I will also have to figure out a way for Option C, the preceding year to filing the application, I was residing in US, and hence, I wrote in application then, that I do not have Option C to provide. May be a letter explaining things would suffice.

Is anybody on the same boat our medical expiring next week
Parents passport in new delhi since 1year and i am still in canada as i did not submit my passport becoz of my job i am here on 3 year post grad workpermit so the agent in delhi said they will send me passport request when our file will on the final review and then u come back back and submit the passport
Can anyone help me that can i send it from here or i should go back and there is no request since 1 year

i send them mine educational documents, well yes 99.9% u will get visas
