Most of these older dependent children would typically accompany those in the PGP (25%), Business (14%), and Provincial Nominee programs (19%). This proposal would not have a significant impact on the overall economic stream as dependent children aged 19 and over account for less than 3% of all approved persons in the economic programs". so with the proposed change in age from 22 to 19 yrs, they r technically expecting 7000 less applicants as dependent children per year.
