Guess we wont be hearing any good news from our forum members this week due to holidays! :/.. I have got so used to visiting the forum everyday and reading all the posts that when i don't have anything to read i feel so isolated! ..Arghhh! Eventually I got visa request email. My parents are asked to send their passport and 3 identical photos to canadian embassy in AbuDhabi although their file was processed in Ottawa.

Any one knows how long does it take for AbuDhabi embassy to issue visa?

-> they currently review emails within 24hrs.
-> If required they will forward your request to officer assigned your file.
-> If their is nothing wrong & then they do not reply back.

I got 1st reply within 24hrs & 2nd 7 days.
The 1st reply came from their helpdesk who monitor your emails & follow up from Officer who stated he got the email on 7th day in his inbox & responded within few hours.

If you inquire about status they will not respond unless it is overdue.

I have a question for you. I am in a situation where PPR request is being very late compared to other members. As of early Nov, the ecas changed to decision made (Ottawa office), but since then no further action. On Nov 13th, my lawyer sent email to Ottawa office asking updates on the file but no response to that email either. What should I do at this point? Any suggestions? As you have many experience communicating with Ottawa office,I thought I'd ask you.

My sponsorship application for my parents has completely disappeared from eCAS.
I could see it until yesterday but I can't see it today.
I haven't done anything to hide it, so I am not sure what's going on.

Is this normal or something wrong with eCAS?

this is normal before sponsership approval happen to my e-cas in may . You will get approval shortly

My application (First Stage) was approved back in Oct and sent to LVO (Pakistan). No news from there? anyone is the same boat? I am getting worried as there should be some response by now (the address in the application is in Canada but the mailing wont take that long)........Any comments? Can I check somehow with them?
