Medical rejection is somewhat belongs to contagious diseases/sickness, i might be wrong but that's what my understanding.
I hope it won't reject but you should disclose it to DMP and also ask your mom to check with her doctor and see what doctor has to say on this.
Thanks starzibal :).. Ohh yes i was discussing the matter with my mom this evening whether we should disclose the situation to them or not! But yes we will now definitly take the previous reports along with us! She has this condition since past 4 years and did reuqire a surgery uptil now and i dont think it will be reuqired in future also in shaa ALLAH because the pressure gets controlled by eye drops only!

Thanks once again rajaji :).. yes i read the reasons of inadmissibilty, but still wanted to make sure of our case whether this could be a problem or not! :)

You are good if your mom does not require an eye surgery in next 5-10 years. Seeing an eye specialist every couple of months and getting an eye drop for your mom is not a cause of rejection.

My dad had a by-pass heart surgery done in India in Feb 2012. We went to DMP for medicals in April, 2012 and extra heart tests were done along with 1st medicals. We got additional medical request and that were done in July, 2012 and doctor wrote that my dad does not require a heart surgery in next 5 years. My dad passed medicals.

One of my friends mom has eye issues (don't know what) and she has to get an expensive eye injection every month in India. My friend told me that the same kind of injection costs significant times in Canada as compared to India. They told DMP about the eye condition and also about the monthly eye injection. She passed her medicals as well and they have got PPR for New Delhi LVO. Their file was in CPP-O.

Please do not hide anything from the DMP. Give them reports that you currently have.
Hey rajmalhotra! Thanks alot for your response! Looking at the cases you have mentioned i believe the case of glaucoma is not to be worried about.. Since th eye pressure gets controlled through eye drops since past 4 years. But i wanted to make sure whether it would be a problem or not. Also i was confused whether we should disclose the eye condition or not. But after reading the comment its better to take all the reports and the prescriptions along with is. There is no harm in it. Since it's not a serious issue! In our next visit to doctor ill make sure we discuss the issue with our doctor aswell! Ahh i feel releived now! Thanks alot fot the great help rajmalhota! :)..

Hi everyone
I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas and enjoying the holidays.

Guys please help me ,should I be concerned for these conditions
one parent
1- Diabetes and on insulin .
2-cataract and in process of being treated.

second parent
3- mayocardial infarction (heart attack I guess) 10 years ago.no blockage now.had angiography and all other stuff year and a half ago and every thing was clearNo need for stent or anything else.though on medication daily.

So should decleration of prescription medicine is enough or we should take previous reports we have with us.

fellow members who had same conditions to deal with and gone through the medical process please give your opinion .

I know parents with bypass surgery are cleared but I was thinking how cic will take a person who is on meds and had a heart attack 10 years ago.

Please reply.thanks

Disclose all information to Panel Physician (DMP), when your parents go for Medical Examination. Take all Reports, Treatment Details etc. and current report from Doctor. Additional tests might be done by Panel Physician. Read reply by rajmalhotra7 on previous page, it will give you needed information as his dad had heart by-pass surgery procedure.

Thank you Raja ji

I will ask my parents to take reports to DMP and disclose all prescriptions. Now the time is coming close and I am very upset now.So far I never read any forum member having any problem.I hope they pass our medical too.My Mom got diabetes into the third year sfter filing the application. On and Off I keep on doing my research work and very hopeful that parents will pass the medical.

I would like to hear the experience of LVO ND applicants because our medical will go to same panel.
This medical will be a huge huge step in application process.

Another friend on trackitt passed medical while his father had diabetes, insulin dependent ,reduced kidney function and high creatinin levels.I am just worried that most people had meds here in Canada or sent to Ottawa. Some time I worry that how we will be treated lke we will do in Pakistan and will be evaluated in India.I mean will the physicians will be more strict there.I found docs here very nice .Hope same back home and especially in India.LOL.

Are you suggesting that being Pakistani applicants, that your file will be looked at differently in India.

hehehhee noo.. But deep down i am a bit worried as whats gonna happen :-$.. But the main thing i am concerned about is the medical results.. We dont get to know of some dieseases until we get our medicals done. So god forbid suddenly a disease appears :-/.. Thats the main thing i am worried about. As far as the medicals being evaulated in india is considered i dont think they would treat us differemtly.. But if every Lvo have there own health pannel to look after the medical reports it would incur less time and cost.. :)

There are RMO's ( Regional Medical Office ) - See Below, thus Pakistan files go there ( I believe ) and I am sure these are chaired by Canadians

As far the surprise element goes, it would be wise to go for a health checkup - which involves the usual blood, urine, HIV etc so they could start treatment if any

As far as cost is concerned, it's cheaper to sent medical reports electronically than to hire more individuals, office space and if it's indeed Canadians who check this, it means they require more people to settle there so all this is added costs All it requires is to see the original doctors results, study it and then send it off

It would be odd for anyone over 55, not to have a slight problem here and there so take as it comes - step by step, anxiety will only cause more issues

Every now and then i get to know something which i wasn't aware of previously! Now that's a great piece of information user828 :).. Yea there are slight medical problems in every person, and it's better to get a pre-medical done to know of the problems before hand. Oh i never knew they send the medical reports electronically to regional offices, what i thought was the medicals report are directly sent to islamabad office to be evaluated by a health officer.. Thanks alot for all the information user828.. With the vast knowledge you have , u can now start your own consultancy :D.. Seriously you are a great help :).. I hope you get the medical request soon.. Best wishes to you :)
