We got AOR in august, but it said the documents were received on May 2012.

Still waiting for approval of sponsorship, almost 2 months after AOR have now passed. Hoping we can hear positively soon.
It sucks to be waiting in stage 1 while most others have already progressed onto stage 2 of the process.
Come on CPC-M, hurry up its been a long wait already. Still gotta deal with local office too

I noticed if your parenents have dependants then it will take more time, I dont even have that but its still stuck.

hey guys.....i have good news to share :), today i rec'd a letter in mail, it is medical request for my mom and also advising to submit passport.
the letter is dated 1st Oct 2012 and i rec'd it today Oct 19, 2012
Finally after long wait we got medical request, so it can be concluded that after file transferred to ND it takes about 5 months for medical request ( my file was transferred to ND on May 17, 2012)

Thats great news for me atleast!!!! Our processing times are very closer to each other... Only difference I see is you applied on a Dec 11 2007 and I applied on a Dec 24 2007.... I got excited after reading your post... Just wondering are you a representative of your parents???? Did you receive also receive a e-mail from CIC-ND??? Also, how do they want you to submit passport???? I mean with medical result or just passport it self??? I am from Surat, Gujarat, India by the way......

thank u very much......seeing our timelines i think you should get med. and pp request soon.
Yes i am representative for my parent.
No i didnt receive email from ND just a letter my post, even though i have provided my email id. I was expecting to receive the request on my email.
I addition to medical request they have asked to submit the following -
Application form IMM008
A Schedule 1 form
Additional Family Information form (IMM5406)

Also they want 2 documents showing Proof of relationship (documents include Original birth certificate, school documents, certified copy of sponsor's old Indian passport showing the sponsor's name and parents name, indian marriage certificate showing parents name, voter id card)

Once Medical is done the passport has to be submitted along with requested documents

I have a question and need help, I have been asked to submit 2 documents showing proof of relationship between me and the sponsor, and the documents incl -
- Original birth certificate
- school documents such as 5th, middle, matriculation or senior secondary school certificates and/or mark sheets from and education board
- certified copy of sponsor's old passport showing the sponsor's name and parents name
- marriage certificate showing parents name
- voters id card

now the problem is, I only have my old passport showing my parents name, I dont have any other document showing my mothers name ( as i am sponsoring my mom only)

so I dont really know what to do, pls reply asap

If you do not have your birth certificate the best thing to do is go to Indian Consulate and get your birth certificate. They will give you your birth certificate with your parents name on it.

Noticed that ND LVO ask for some forms which we have already filled while CPP-O simply as for Passport. I don't understand the point of double-paperwork and more forms like Schedule A etc to be done

agreed.....this double paper work makes things complicated and tedious, when the forms are already submitted why they want it again? why different process at CPP-O and ND (may be some other LVO might ask for same)
