So my nightmare continues as well...here is the latest.

I got reply from MP office, who actually forwarded the email from Delhi consulate about query on my parents case. The email from Delhi says exactly "Please be advised that this application was refused on May 23." It nearly gave me a panic attack.

Then I realized the file number in the subject of the email is not mine, although body of email has the correct file name. Called MP office and they said maybe they (MP office) made a typo and Delhi consulate just replied based on the wrong file name in subject line and didn't look into the body of email, so they are re-sending the email with correct file name.

Just to recap on my case, I applied in Oct 2007 and as per GCMS notes my file is ready for visa since Oct 2012 (from Ottawa pilot project) and all checks including medical, security etc are passed. Waiting to get passports back since Oct 2012.

they have no reason to refuse after ottawa had done everything on their end.

It looks like there's no Delhiite on this forum that can shed light on doctors from there.

Hope it was not done at Lilavati. They gave my mom a horrible time and "suspected" everything from TB, Cancer, AIDS, HIV what have you, in her... I am happy to see that Lilavati is no longer in the list of PP on the CIC's website...

SO CHC Delhi cannot handle a basic enquiry? From your GCMS , have u checked if the medical extension was granted ? I am guessing ur medicals would have expired by now.

No the medicals are valid till almost end of August.

3 months is way too little, some are waiting since 8 months

Varies, at time - got reply within 1 day, at time, got none

Ranja, IMO - they jumped the gun on your status as if it was done, it should have been mailed by now. Just gotta wait it out
