When you say "police report" does that mean PCC/Police clearance certificate? if so, the PCC is only valid for 6 months therefore yours must have been expired and they need new one.
what other documents they asked?

Starzibal

they attached a four page form.
in that they ask for basic data plus dependent educational documents, travel history.
And yes they ask for ppc. Which is remain valid till 6 months u r correct.

Hi all folks

Today I check my ecas and then change Sponsorship Application Status received to decision made.
I click on decision made and I saw that:

1. We received your application to sponsor NNNNNN on June 15, 2010.

2. We sent you a letter on March 31, 2015 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Hi applied 2010,
when did you send the documents , when they were requested back in july 2014? want to count that how long they take to approve sponsorship. also do u have any dependents in you case?
thanks

So is it a good or bad news?

applied 2010
Thank you

I sent my doc on mid Oct and I got AOR on mid Jan.

Yes, I have 1 dependent. He was 17 when we submitted in 2010.

I think the reason they ask these information/forms is that they want to update your file and to see if there is any new information/updates etc. before they issue visa.

Hi Applied 2010. Congrats to you too, I guess we both received our SA same time. BTW, just curious, has your dependant continued schooling? I know based on Type A dependent child continuous schooling is not required though some parents send their children to school to be on a safer side.

Since my parents were to extend their visit visa, i thought of having them take upfrontT medical since i'm expecting the request for PR medical to come soon, which now we received. So we already started their medicals here in Toronto since 3 weeks or so ago though not yet finished.

Now my question, Has anybody's parents been asked for additional test during medical exam? My father is being asked for a cardiologist report which includes several test like echocardiography, resting ecg, exercise ecg, cardiac ecg and nuclear test. They are here in canada on visit visa, I still don't have the exact cost but after checking a few from the Internet those tests costs a fortune! We may end up paying about $5000. Back home he was not asked to do these tests, he had medical before he came here in Dec 2013.

I'm thinking of changing different doctor to see if they will require the same thing... Though I'm not sure if it's a good idea...I just thought I have the option to change, since the current medical exam has not been submitted yet and I can request to just close the file...I know I have to risk him being asked the same test again plus new medical fee cost...Any thoughts?....

Most probably they found increased BP. But an upfront or initial medical should never ask for such detailed examinations because it will come as a furtherance request later on by CIC.

You need to send those completed forms asap. Without them CIC will reject your case and you will be denied PR. Maybe the forms got misplaced or lost but at least they have provided you enough time to resend them.

Don't waste time just resend what has been asked for.
Good luck
