Did they also request you to send passport ? I think you should wait a bit because it has only been eight weeks even though they told u within 6-8 weeks, I don't think they will get things done right on time . Is there a form they sent you to do a medical? I am still waiting to receive an email from them requesting to do medical, they said they will send me separate email for that, they already emailed me asking for additional documents. Do you think I should wait for their email regarding medical, I only have about one month left to send the medical and other documents

Baptism is carried out in the christian faith. It is a Christian sacrament of admission and adoption with the use of water, into the Christian Church.

It is basically a religious ceremony. If you have been baptized you will know and the date you had your ceremony whould be mentioned on the certificate.
It is neither a birth or marriage certificate.
Are you a christian by faith, if not then you will not have a baptismal certificate.

I have a good news to share. Yesterday my family picked up the passports with visa stamped.
Both for my mother and sister. They had their re-medical done in December 2014.

Now my questions is from the experts;

My mother need some time to wrap up some matters before coming to Canada, However I like my sister to come early. She is over 22 now.
She have her separate COPR. Can she come alone first and my mom join us later? Or as a dependent of the sponsorship file. My sister cant come alone? Will call CIC on Monday to ask. Any suggestions?

Sorry, since your sister is dependent, she has to land with, or after the principal applicant (your mother)
I would advise you to get to them land ASAP, and then worry about other things.
Once they land, they can return to Pak with peace of mind, to wrap it all up. You can courier the PR Cards to them via Fedex.

Congratulations, and hope they land soon in Canada and join you.

Hi there.....after looking at ur timeline...it looks like everything moved smoothly till they requested the passport ans than they just did not stamp the visa .....so ur passport it with the visa office for more than two yeays now?? Did u ever contacted them at to why its taking so long??? Becuase 2008 even 2009 appliant have got visa....there must be a reason they want to share with u??

I applied for my parents in July 2009, from Mississauga Office. In June 2012 they transferred the file to Islamabad. In June 2014, they transferred it to London. In March 2015, we received medical requests. The medicals were done on 24th march 2014 in lahore.
ANy idea, how much of a longer wait for a passport request ?
I have already paid the landings fees for both .
Does the passport request comes via email or by mail. I got everything ( notifications of transfers and medicals via email)

Is landing fees different than right of permanent resident fees. I paid right of permanent resident fees back in 2008 when I first applied for sponsorship. Do I need to pay separate landing fee?

if you have paid it already, you do not have to, it is the same RPRF.
