I just talked to the rep again.. and she said the same.. she said they have asked for additional docs till 6th May 2010..

That is strange as we did receive the additional documents request and we did apply on May 26, 2010.

I would suggest - get all the papers ready in advance - signatures & police certificates. When you get the request, you'll send them right away that will definitely speed up the processing time for you at least with Mississauga.

This is an example of bad customer service and training.The agent told me that they are sending letter uptill may 6th and so you are gonna be the part of the next batch ,which they don't know yet .

Thanks for reply guys.. One more thing my parents have visited Canada for couple of times on visitor visa. Would they have UCI number?

You can send all the forms to your parents to sign in advance and then you can always date them yourself when you get the request. Just need to watch for updated version.

That's a good question, as my Mom is still in Canada with us.
