Hi Anik
Did you get any update after the status changed to two lines? We are in the same boat, got the Email same day and status changed to two lines on the same day. Just getting a little anxious here :)
Regards
Nope, nothing so far and no further changes.
I recall someone mentioned earlier in thes thread that they got such an email and them approval by email as well in a week. So i am not realistically expecting anything until at least the end of this week. And given easter weekend - even later probably.
Still keep checking daily though :)

They should send a copy of the certificate in original language with original ( not copy) official translation of it attached.

Instructions for the processing of Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR) documents at inland CICs in those cases where the application for permanent residence was processed through Global Case Management System (GCMS) at a visa office. Here is the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob402.asp

For those with dependent, I read somewhere on this thread where someone mentioned that when u apply for parents/bro/sisters and they are studying, its not necessary for them to be a student till its approved, it goes by app date?

is that true

I got a letter from CIC today.
The application says "You application was received on Feb 15, 2012 and we have determined that your application is complete. Your application is now in processing queue and will be processed based on the date the complete application was received."
Can anybody ahead in the queue put some light on what this mean in terms of processing stage. Can I expect that my file would be transferred to Ottawa or Local Office soon?
Regards

Expect a letter this week stating your file has been approved and transferred to Ottawa or Delhi

For me, it was span of 1 day, Monday - Complete Letter, Tue - Approved Letter

I am glad that this thread has 100 pages and tons of information. Kudos to whoever shared the information, you guys are awesome!!!
This thread is very very helpful.

It's more than 7 weeks our file transferred to CPP-O.........still waiting for medical request. So, don't know what is going on? Last week I sent PCC, use of representative form and letter regarding status of my file still waiting for response......Any update on your file.........? Did you contact CPP-O......?

Van80, so did you send your PCCs without them asking?
What did you write in a cover letter? Did you put your parents' UCI on top of the cover letter?
Has Ottawa office got back you ..ever?
ON some forums, it says that they usually reply to emails within 48 hours. I wonder if it is true.
