I have noticed that some people have submitted their PCC proactively. So we don't need to wait for the PCC request?
How to do the proactively submission? just send the PCC in with the file number?

I asked my MP for the follow up on file and got the following answer:
-Security and eligibility have not yet started;
-It was also noted that the application is non-routine and regular processing times will not apply
1.Does anybody know how long the security will take if started
2.non-routine means in general or there is something specific to our application

My status says that since March 2020 and still hasn't changed. I have also tried Local MP, GCMS notes, Web inquiry, and calls. did not made any difference. I guess all I can say is just be patient. I just received our 2nd medical request last week. Looks like things are moving so hopefully yours will move too.

I received invitation to pre-arrival service letter it's been 3 weeks but the eligibility status is still reviewing, should it change to passed?

Good Morning folks. My parents got requested for Biometrics. We applied in 2019. The problem is that New Delhi office has no availability for Biometrics. Additionally, when we call them, there is a recorded message. How do we apply for Biometrics in Delhi? ANyone else in similar situation? How do we do this now?

Oct 1, 2021-- received Biometric request
Oct 6, 2021-- completed Biometric
Oct 13, 2021-- received IME request

Sponsorship -- decision made
PR application - received application for permanent residence on June 27, 2019.

they will not have to travel back to India. They can complete landing in Canada virtually.

Thanks! We just received passport request for my parents and they are scheduled to travel next week to Canada. Can they still travel on visitor visa next week and complete their virtual landing when they are here?

My CIC application status shows FINAL DECISION 20 Aug with counterfoil document number along with Issue date/Expiry date.
Doea this mean Visa sticker is affixed on my MIL passport?
I am not sure because we hired an agent in India and he is saying passport was returned back to him from VFS because photos sizes were not correct. Also he is saying passport is with someone in Delhi and we live in Gujarat.
I am wondering if agent is telling the truth. How can I found out what is happening. I tried calling CIC call centre but it keeps getting disconnected.
If my CIC account status shows a counterfoil document with numebers and issue/expiry date, what does that mean?

Confusing but the counterfoil # represents the 'IMMIGRANT VISA' sticker that the consulate puts on the passport after the submission.
I would definitely rely on the cic website update and demand to see the passport from your agent.

I checked my eCAS and today it shows sponsorship status as "Decision Made". I haven't received my letter confirming what the decision is. What are the next steps to obtain one? Members, kindly advise.

Keep checking your email folder and mailbox. If not received within few weeks call IRCC.

Biometrics have to be done at Visa application centers (VAC) not in the visa office. Search for Biometrics Collection Centers and read the instructions.
