Hi All,

I've just got an invite for sponsoring my parents for PR to Canada. One doubt I've before submitted the documents is that for one year my income was less that the Minimum Income that is required in the table and for the last two years I've double the income which is required.
Will that affect my application as they have asked for the last three year of T4 or Notice of Assessment in the requirements.

Thanks,
With due respect, it was already mentioned in the form that you should meet minimum LICO requirement. Why did you apply at the first place? You just ruined somebody who was actually eligible for the application. This is very wrong on your part.

ATTENTION QUEBEC APPLICANTS

I received the request to sponsor my parents. I live in Quebec. The financial requirements are different than in Federal (easier). Anyone sponsoring their parents out of quebec can help me with the following questions:

IS THE BELOW CALCULATION CORRECT?

--------------------------------------------------
Basic income required of the sponsor to meet his or her own family unit’s basic needs >> C$39,806 (family of 3)
+
Additional income required of the sponsor to meet the basic needs of the sponsored person and his or her family members >> C$61,278 (2+1 >> C$28,698 + (4 x C$8,145))

My parents that i sponsoring are divorced and each have their own families so I counted all of them as 6 adults + 1 under 18.
= C$101,084
-----------------------------------------------

Is this the right way to calculate it or I should consider my dad's family separately as a family unit and then my mom's family after that alone as a family unit? (minium required income will become higher then)

WOW this is significantly lower than the Federal requirements!!!! And it is only required for last tax year, insanely unfair to other Canadians! Hate this one country 2 systems, so discriminating!

Your question was already answered. Please don't post the same question multiple times. You don't qualify to sponsor your parents and should have never submitted an intent to sponsor form.

I'm going to be applying for both parents and grandmother. Do I have to fill out separate application to sponsor undertaking (IMM 1344). One for my parent and 1 for my grand mother? If yes, then does this mean the forms to be filled by principal applicant also need to be filled separately for my grandmother?
Also, in the financial evaluation form (IMM 5768), Question 3 A says "Numbers of persons included in box #3 of IMM 0008), in my case I would have 2 IMM 0008 so would this be a total of 3 or do I have to do entire application separately for my grandmother?

Hi everyone,
Please can anyone help me with this question?

Form 0008, PERSONAL DETAILS question 12, this is asking whether my parents trip to any country of a duration more than six months.
Is this asking for single stay duration, or accumulative duration?
My mom has been in Canada multiple times accumulating more than six months, but none individual stay was over six months.
Should I answer yes or no?

Hello everyone. I have three questions. I am sponsoring my mom.
  1. My parents are legally separated but not divorced. Is my dad still considered as spouse? As they say, you have to include your spouse whether they are accompanying you or not. So would he need to be included in the application?
  2. My mom is here on supervisa. She got a stamp of 2 years twice in the past couple of years. During this time she has been back home a couple of times. Most recent: Was here from April 2018 to July 2018. Then went to India for a couple of months and came back in august 2018. They gave her a new 2 year stamp upto August 2020. Then she went to India in dec 2018 and came back in feb 2019. They didn't change her stamp. My query is about question 10 Your current country of residence, in form IMM0008. I will be writing Canada but unsure about the From and To dates. Anyone has any recommendations?
  3. In the financial evaluation form 5768, for gross income, several people are saying to write 2019-01-01 to present in the first line. However, in this thread from a few years ago a very experienced member of the forum has gotten this clarified from ircc that this is how it should be. https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/tips-for-2016-future-pgp-applicants.333951/page-18#post-4832567 According to this the first row should be 2018-01-01 to present and gross income be NOA of 2018. What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks :)

How you guys are filling additional family information form ?
If there is no space in that form ,Are you guys attaching another form or making another Microsoft word sheet ?

And also , How you guys are filling that form in your native language too?
I am attaching a word document and providing necessary details.

Is there a spreadsheet? I just mailed my application. I'll probably be one of the first submissions for 2019. :D

Did you provide any extra documents other than the check list ?
Yes there was a letter explaining that the dates are incorrect in the Personal history section of the eIMM5669 form (schedule A/Background) because the form refused to Validate with the correct info. I Validated the form by selecting ongoing for all 5 date ranges and then provided the correct info in the letter.
