I mean under which catagory we should apply . my husband has done mining engineering and MBA marketing . he has 8 year work experience in marketing and 2 years in mining. You really don't need to hire a consultant, just start your research today and everything is available online.

you should apply yourself no need to go to any consultant. By the way I am from Lahore. I would be happy to help you guys if anything you need to know. By the way your husband can apply through his work experience.

1: we dont know under which category we should apply. we are open to any province in cananda where chances of immigration are strong and take less time.
2: somebody told us that my husband's mining experience is highly in demand in some places in Canada. they also told us that conditions are very harsh( weather) but chances of getting visa are high. what wud you suggest?
3: how to calculate points

There are few other things which are time consuming and are necessary for Canadian Immigration.
1) You should prepare for IELTS (not less than 6 band in all module)
2) Take your Educational Credential Assessment done from WES or IQAS etc. (WES is faster therefore it is recommended)


For your Question#01
Its correct, if you get any Provincial nomination then you get 100% chances of being selected in the rounds of Invitations.

For your Question#02
I am not sure about your husband Occupation if its in demand or not,
but, weather conditions are extreme for sure.

I tried applying for Express Entry last year.. I read it up completely, and created a profile using GCkey process.
I have not yet got my credentials assessed from any canadian institute. Do i need to do this
My application got rejected a lot .. but they did not give me any reasons for it.. So i am not sure if even i get my degrees assessed, will it get accepted or not

I have given my IELTS in general mod last year. 8 bands.

have a degree in Computer Sciences from an HEC institute. 26 years old. and 5 years of Exp. as a web developer

Can any one suggest what should i do

Any idea what docs should i sent ! .. I have got my degrees attested from HEC and copy of them in an HEC sealed envelope at the moment.

By today i will be applying hopefully.

One more thing.. in 2012, i went to dubai for work.. but that did not work out well, and i had to come back.. the company i worked for put a permanent ban on me for entering. (i know it sounds bad, but i had my reasons).. So will this affect my chances for Express Entry ?

Great, if you are not in a hurry then ICAS is fine. (But it takes long time around 3-4 months)
WES is comparatively faster then any other agency. (20 Business days only)

1) How long did you stay there?

2) Which kind of Ban was it? I mean to ask did they ban your entry to Dubai?
