For overseas family members, I recommend selecting the specific overseas visa office on the WebForm. They usually respond much faster than the offices inside Canada.
For example, if the New Delhi office was the one that emailed for documents and biometrics, they definitely hold the file and will know more about the progress. However, keep in mind that I recently used a WebForm and was told they cannot finalize the overseas application until the main applicant receives a final decision

Yes all requests for dependent adr was from outside Canada and the visa office is Vienna

I received my eligibility in Nov 2025 (applied for PR in May 2024) and my dependents outside Canada got additional documents request on 24 Dec 2025 from London office, the requested documents have been submitted on 14 Jan 2026. no further updates

Unfortunately, this doesn’t work the same way for the refugee PR category.
The refugee PR category is not available on the IRCC overseas WebForm. I tried submitting a WebForm by selecting “outside Canada spouse” and chose the London visa office, since my dependent’s application is being processed there.
Within about 3 hours, I received a reply from the London office saying they were unable to attach the documents to the file because the correct category was not selected. They advised me to submit the documents or inquiry again under the correct category.

so how did you send your dependents additional documents to london visa office under protected person category?

You need to select Category: Refugee and then Sub category: Refugee PR on the IRCC WebForm. When you choose this, the question asking whether your application is being processed by an overseas office does not appear, dependents under a protected person case are not processed as spousal sponsorship. They fall under the Refugee category, the refugee applications start with G, and spousal sponsorship applications start with F.
