FINALLY. Just got my PPR now at 12.05 pm

Finally! Huge congratulations! After such a long wait since 2021, you must be overjoyed. Wishing you a smooth passport submission and a speedy reunion with your spouse in Canada.

Its the other way around. When I was reapplying for my Canadian visitors visa, I didnt have do redo biometrics. The biometrics that was used, was one given for my PR application 2.5yrs l, ago for my TRV visa

That's correct. IRCC can reuse valid biometrics from a previous application in certain circumstances. However, the requirements may differ depending on the application type. It's always best to follow the biometric instructions issued by IRCC for each application.
