Aha , my wife called them and they mention they checking my travel history " i travel alot " , just not sure if my wife moved from quebec will this delay the process due to change of the office handling her file or not ?

i think that only for 3-5months your file will be delayed but quebec processing time is extremely high so moving outside quebec is a better choice

your primary applicant should move from quebec my dependents outside canada got additional document request on 12dec 2025 and on 7jan 2026 they recieved pre arrival altough i did not recived p.r

Pre arrival just means sponsor eligibility has passed and has nothing to do with being close to final decision. IRCC should really change the name.

Processing is only one consideration. If employed can she find employment outside Quebec and the cost of living is often higher in places like Ontario so can she afford a higher cost of living.

She is unemployed , what is really concern is processing time as we have 3 kids twin of 2 years and other 5 years , so this seperation in really killing

Please how or where can I check the progress of my application as an overseas dependant of a protected person in Canada? My spouse already has Ecopr and is waiting for his pr card.
However, I am unable to link my application to be able to check what stage I'm at.

You won't be able to link your application anywhere (as much as I know) but what you can do is that if you know which visa office your application is; you can use WebForms to ask about your progress which I always do and it works or directly email the VO but I still recommend WebForms

The cost of living is higher in many other provinces so could she secure housing she can afford? Afford to move? She may not get access to affordable daycare outside Quebec, etc. Being homeless in another province is worse than being separated.

Are you part of pilot program? When they requested medical for your dependents ? After your copR or final decision? And when they transfer your dependents file to Ankara after eligibility passed?

For overseas family members, I recommend selecting the specific overseas visa office on the WebForm. They usually respond much faster than the offices inside Canada.
For example, if the New Delhi office was the one that emailed for documents and biometrics, they definitely hold the file and will know more about the progress. However, keep in mind that I recently used a WebForm and was told they cannot finalize the overseas application until the main applicant receives a final decision
