Out of Time, Not Out of Options: Bridging Open Work Permits??

Hi everyone,

I am currently applying under express entry and I have met the requirements. So in another words, I am in the pool but HAVE NOT been selected yet.
I have the letter of acknowledgement from CIC.

I am a little confused here and I hope someone can put a light on it.... Do I need to be selected in the pool in order to apply for BOWP? I read somewhere "that an Immigration Officer has done an initial assessment of the application and has verified that all necessary information and DOCUMETATION has been received"
I haven't sent them anything because my score is lower than selection.

If someone knows about this, PLEASE clarify.

The rules are pretty clear. It is not enough to be in the pool or just to be selected to be eligible to apply for BOWP. You need to be selected, received ITA, submitted application for PR and received AOR letter.

You are not eligible for a BOWP until you receive an ITA and submit your eAPR. As well, your work permit must be valid at the time of submission.
