What with immigration and our own crusade to obtain teacher certification (applied in AUGUST!!!! Canada keeps misplacing every single doc we send and re-requesting them), they are indeed giving a rather poor image of their country.
How we understand how you feel Edupolo... My fiancée was asking me about you this very afternoon, as we lay on a God-forsaken beach of the Scottish North coast, wondering what the (near?) future held for us...
Let's hope the ordeal is really coming to an end. When I think about the future and honestly try to plan ahead, I realise again that 6 months do not mean aything anymore (again!) when you know what they are capable of...
And the future does not look good where I am: end of my job here in a few weeks, ..what if I don't move to Canada before late autumn..
We had told the landlady that we would be sorted "in a few weeks" so she advertised the house for sale..
I don't want to move, find a new job and do all these things here that I was so looking forward to doing there...
I will resend an online request to London tonight...not having had any replies since the last one at the beginning of April.

1 month ago my son got an admission offer from the Toronto University for 2011-2012.
We will proceed to request student visa for him after graduation from High School this summer.
Now I wonder
1. Can I accompany him to Canada?
2.Can I get any kind of work permit there?
This is indeed very important to me, due to my plan to resign from my current job here, in KSA, in August.

1) Last week, ur ecas was updated with Med Results have been received.

2) according to many discussions, this means PPR will follow within weeks. We ourselves saw this happening for ahaboubi.Check this link where Qorax has said so...

This month I have completed my 10th month from the day I have submitted my documents to CPP-O .

Any idea from your experience on why there is such delay ?? and how long more it might take till I get my medical ?! ???

Hi,

Doesn't your AOR letter say that if you don't hear from them within 10 months you should send them an email? They write an exact date, which should be 10 months from the date they received your full documents. Check your AOR, and if that date is already passed, you should write them and ask for clarification.

By the way, did they ask for additional documents?

They didn't ask for any additional document so far and hope they will not !! can they still ask for more documents after 10 months ?!?

If the ten months are already completed, I think you should write to them immediately.

Hopefully they won't ask for any additional documents, but they can.

I have the same experience and after completing 10 months I sent an e-mail to CPPO and they replied as usual that "your application is in process and officer in carriage will contact you if it needs".

My time line was finished on March 10,2011 and after my e mail they updated my e case and mentioned that "we started processing of your file on March 11,2011".

After one month that is April 11,2011 again I sent an e mail for update and got the same reply.

Buddy you have joined the blog with so much of negativity..ur username says it all , try to instill some Positive energy around you and you will know what is the canadian immigration system .
Try to see other applicants who are waiting since past 4 or 5 years and some even more.
Have patience and you will be there . Good luck to u

As I see it, 12 of us i.e. Edupolo, M+JM , marvstin, grouvy, Lina-Ida, ericznet, godwilling , Psychosibes ,Ramuk, Camerwell, canada74 and I are awaiting PPR after Medicals. But it is sometime since grouvy, ericznet, godwilling, psychosibes, Ramuk, Camerwell and canada74 communicated in discussion. Plz update your status.
