Lots of employees i know dont want to be back. Simply they comfortable not have to commute again, life hassle, now they sit at home get paid with leas productivity
Today 172 staff members at hospitals in Windsor have been suspended for not getting the shot by the deadline. There is a deadline for the federal workers by the end of September, and I hope they suspend who doesn't get the shot, and replace them with those who are vaccinated, to get back to offices and get back to work full capacity. This is getting ridiculous to keep using covid-19 as an excuse for their laziness. Other courtiers have lifted all restrictions already, and people got to semi-normal lives already. Canada has one of highest vaccination rates, yet things are still closed or work in a limited capacity.

I am not favouring anyone, But trust me with this LRT Drama, I feel like not to go to work anymore and wanted have a job which I can work from home. I was always against work from home consept but now i am tired of it, just becasue its so hard for me to commute even though i am 10 min away from my work and I have to use O-train.

But, it seems like Ottawa office is moving bit faster than before, so stay positive guys, it won't be to long for all of us.

That's a stupid argument and goes against the very charter rights that grants you freedom of choice. It's the other way round. Federal government should never have mandated the vaccines to begin with.

I am not here to argue about this issue, but no one forces anyone to take the vaccinate. If you don't want to be vaccinated, be ready to look for another job where vaccines are not mandatory. Schools ask for children vaccines status when they are enrolled in. This is not something new, and it's not about freedom of choice as you wrongly imagine. It's about public health safety at large that affects everyone.

Funny, you speak of personal body choice in context of public health, when the regulators themselves say vaccine doesn't prevent the spread. Then the vaccinated don't really have to worry about the unvaccinated. Being unvacccinated hasn't prevented a child from attending school, why doesn't the same apply to the federal government employees? Infact, the other part of your grievance about slow processing will be further exacerbated if new hires replace the existing unvaccinated federal employees as they take time to get trained and get integrated into the process.
