Still waiting for AOR

Hope you get the AOR soon. I want to ask if it’s okay to process the application in UAE? Most of the application on this forum was processed in Manila. I worked here in UAE. Do you think there will be a problem with this? I asked because if we will do the medical that means we need to do it inside UAE. Thank you

Just send your complete application to CPC Sydney. Once you receive the AOR from IRCC and they start communicating with you, you can ask them this question and more

yes, it reached CPC Sydney on July 21. no AOR yet. not expecting it this year due to covid

My brother's application received Nov 18, 2020. As of now, I receive only the temporary file number.
Sponsor is single, no family in canada and both parents are deceased.

Not yet. I checked the processing time for my type of sponsorship - 18 months. I expect the AOR in July. IRCC is still busy clearing the backlogs for spousal applications - for that type of sponsorship, processing time is 12 months

Yes, thanks.
It seems priority is given to spousal applications.

How many and what kind of supporting documents did you put in your package? ie, Death certificate (both deceased parents), birth certificate..etc?

I was scared because I did not put them. If everything is OK, I think I will receive the AOR.
