hi! I m just new here. I just wanna ask if there's a registered nurses here in the Philippines who has been chosen by Ms. Shelly and required to do an exploratory visit? Because Ms. Shelly emailed my boyfriend asking if he is willing to do the exploratory visit. But we are hesitant to do that because most of the registered nurses applying for a tourist visa in canada was always been denied. But to apply for that stream it is really mandatory to do the exploratory visit. Haayz! I think there's no other way.

Really? All nurses that are applying for Tourist Visa is denied? Even with proper funds and invitation?

Yep, submitted my app dec 15 and got my LOA may 27 family stream. Still waiting for my nbi. May be first week of july will submit app to CIC.

I think it's still worth trying. Why haven't you scheduled your visit yet? I think within 6 months of being invited you need to go there and do the visit. Do not forget to allot time for the application of the visitor visa too. When did you receive the invite if I may ask?

For your tourist visa may be you can attached the invitation letter. Tourist visa processing will only take 15 working days.

I am the Immigration Coordinator for the City of Morden and we are seeking applications that may qualify for our program.

I would like to apply in Manitoba as Skilled Worker, but I don't have friends or relatives in Manitoba, and that is one requirement if you are applying as Skilled Worker.

Please advise.

February. No time frame to do the exploratory visit.

Definitely that invitation letter will put weight when i apply for a trv.

As far as i know most of the situation was like that, those registered nurses are turned down. But we are still we are still crossing our fingers.

If you have the budget to take the review class then go take it coz it will help you and you can check the free online practice test. If you are determined you can do it and it is not hard just review and practice.
