Nomination status received but no 600 points

I checked from December list, you got your nomination only in 8 days Are you being serious or just kidding? with the current flow its so hard to believe, it is like dream come true haha

I received oinp on 29 Apr 2016.
Applied on 7 Dec 2015.
Currently living in Alberta.

It's well known Ghost e-mail specifying your file was opened by CO. Hope good news will follow soon. All the very best!!

the amount of fund which i mentioned in my schedule 4 request was of old lico for 4 people $ 22,200 wheras new lico revised few days before my application submission was $22,600. i came to know later. my proof of fund document was showing more than lico. but what i mentioned in schedule 4 are short by $ 400. although i have other funds as well. what should i do now? how can it effect my application?

Hi,

I am currently waiting for PPR. You can see my timeline in the signature below.
My employer wanted me to travel to USA on a H1 and it turned out that the petition went through in the lottery.
My wife would then need to travel with me on a H4.
I always wanted to work and stay in Canada and that was the whole purpose of trying for PR. So, long term plan is to stay in Canada.
Now, I have a few questions:
1. How easy it is to search for a job in Canada while in the US?
2. What would happen if a PPR would come at the same time as that of a H1 stamping? Is there some time period to send the passports to the Canadian embassy for stamping?
3. My wife does not have my name as "spouse" in the Indian passport. Canadian PR did not require it as such. But, for H4, it seems that my name has to be there in her passport. Would it affect my PR application (since her passport needs to be updated)?
4. If I get my Canadian PR, I and my wife might need to go to Canada and stay there for 2 months until we get our PR cards. Is there a problem in flying to Canada from US (while on H1) and come back to US after 2 months if my employer agrees to it?

After you received OINP nomination and accepted it, I bet you received a letter from CIC acknowledging your acceptance and informing you that you have been awarded 600 points. At that point when you received the letter, did your profile show the 600 points or did it take some time before it was updated with the 600 points??

After a long wait; being nominated on 1st April and accepting the nomination on 21st May, I got the letter that the 600 points have been awarded. However, my profile remains as it was... no show of the 600 points... see scanshot below;

Application/profile status: Open
Province/Territory Nomination: Received
Job Bank Registration: Accepted
Review of Minimum Entry Criteria: Met
ITA Status: No invitation at this time

Today is 3rd May. Which 21st May are you talking about?
If it was a typo for 21st April, then, you might need to shoot them an email. Usually, the 600 points gets reflected within 2 days.

Deepak - your anxiety is completely understandable. We all are in a position where we cannot control things until we hear from IRCC. However, no news is still good news. To reduce your anxiety why don't you try to order GCMS notes as well.

Got PPR on 26 Aug...sent the passport to VFS Delhi on 29th and got the PR on 3rd May ...received message from VFS to collect the passport and CIC updated to Application Approved

I got the same response after contacting them to inform about the 600 points that were not added, it's been a week now without any further contact.

Yesterday, I got a response from CIC (to my CSE) that they have verified the information and nomination points have been recalculated and I should re-check my account. The mail also states that if I still see incorrect points, then i should raise another CSE with snapshots of the screen.

When i checked my account, I have received an email with a letter from CIC stating that I have accepted the ON nomination and hence I have been allotted 600 additional points. However, the points are still not updated.

Does it take sometime after receiving this letter for the points to be updated? Or shall I just go ahead and raise another CSE with snapshots.

Kindly help.
