Hi All,

This is obvious, but just wanted to reconfirm: While filling Permanent Residence application form post-ITA, under Application Details we now mention that we have nomination from Ontario. Earlier, while creating EE profile, we have denied this. Could someone please confirm.

Thanks.

1. Yes just copies. Except for bank statements and photos which have to b originals. Make sure reference letters has all the requisite details and are printed on company letter head.
2. Yes it has to b the entire passport copy. Print on one side only..not double sided or 4 pages in one page.
I don't think it would matter if we print 4 passport pages on one age as long as they are clear and legible scan copies. I myself have done it, it saves paper.

PS: All docs sent to them shud be single side printed only.

Have you listed all of XYS'z periods of military service or government positions (if any), and all of the organizations that XYZ belongs to (if any)?
++++++++++++

For above question, I have selected "Not Applicable" as I have never been part of military, government or any other organization, except the Company where I am currently working. Does this Company/Employer is considered as an Organization that I belong to, and should I change my selection from "Not Applicable" to "Yes". Please help. Thanks.

I received nomination from Ontario provincial nomination program (PNP), and thereby additional 600 points has been added in my profile. Now I am waiting for invitation through Express Entry in the next draw.

Now, I am preparing documents for submitting my PR application to CIC.

One of my friend's PR application was rejected due to sudden jump of money in his bank account despite submitting a letter from his father. This is worrying me!!

When I submitted my PNP application form, my father provided me $11,000 as gift. OOPNP has accepted it as a proof of fund.

Myself and my wife are working and our total salary is more than what we need to show low in come cut-off limit. In CIC website, I found the following instruction:

“Unless you are currently authorized to work in Canada and have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada, or you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, you must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada”

In my express entry profile I have mentioned $19,000 as a settlement fund (for 3 family members) .

Right now I have also received a notarized letter from my father stating that the amount is a gift and not a loan. The bank transaction records shows his account number, bank address, his home address, my bank address, and the amount.

My question are, Is there any other proof of documents I should submit to show the amount is a gift from my father-in-law and not a loan amount? Do you think I have to show fund more than the low income cut off, even though we both are working in Canada?

I am also having similar situation. My balance fluctuating between 10, 000 CAD to 20, 000 CAD and I require 18, 500 CAD POF for 3 members family. Please advise if final balance above required POF will be okay in that case?

Is the reference letters from the previous company need to submit. I did not submitted the reference letters for OINP instead I submited my Experience letters for my previous employers. I have worked for 3 different companies back in my home country , one of them is shut down now. Can somebody tell if I upload experience letters from my previous employers is sufficient.

I am bit confused about digital photos myself. Truly appreciate if someone could shed some light on the requirements for digital photos. The CIC website says for example that "The size of the head, from chin to crown, must be between 31 mm (1 ¼") and 36 mm (1 7/16")." This holds true for the actual physical photo but a digital photo can be resized by the officer. Right? I mean when you scan a photo, how do you make sure these physical sizes would still follow the requirements? You can control DPI and number of pixels when you scan, but I am not sure how you control the size of chin to crown. Anybody?

CIC also says:

"The final frame size of the photo must be at least 35 mm x 45 mm"

But my scanned photo is a lot larger than that on my screen. I can shrink it or make it bigger after I open the file, but its natural size is a lot bigger than 35*45.

CIC website says it should be atleast 35mm X 45 mm. So this means pic size should not be lesser than this. It can be bigger than this that wont be a problem. As you said wen you scan its coming bigger size. Officer can always open the JPEG file and resize the pic. But make sure it is atleast 35 by 45 if its more that will not be a problem. I also did same for mine as well.

Thanks
