I just withdrew and re-submitted EE profile. My Job Bank account doesnt give me option to add new EE number. Does anyone know how to add the new EE number to existing Job Bank account?

@redd23,

You will need to deactivate your current job bank account and create a new one with the new EE profile number.

How does one deactivate the older job bank account? There is no button there that lets you delete or deactivate. So what I did was I changed the email address there. Then I used my current email address in a new job bank account linked to the new EE profile.

I revoked the old GCKey but the old job bank account still exists linked to a different email address. Do I need to delete or deactivate it?

I put the current date ; but someone said to put the expiry date of work permit if we are in Canada or any future date if you are outside Canada.

I printed the form and wrote Present. Is that okay?

Hi guys,

For section L of the application form, I am the only applicant (No dependents) and I'm not using any representative. Should I sign that part ?

OOPNP told me to write the expiry date of the work/study permits.

If it's a full time permanent then yes you can put the expiry date of work permit , if you are on a contract and your job expiry date comes before your work permit expiry date then put the job expiry date.

Hi all, I have a 3 months old baby as my dependent. Unfortunately we haven't taken passport for my new born yet. is it ok to attach only the birth certificate in OOPNP application and explain in cover letter that I'm ready to submit the passport at a later date?

I'm currently in my native with my mother and planning to go to my usual residence after 2 mnths. I can take passport only then. Please advise.

Dear all,

I have a question regarding application fee.

All payment methods are not available in my country. My brother lives in Quatar and he can pay by cheque. But his name will be written on this payment. Is it OK? Can I submit the payment confirmation issued in another country paid by my relative?

Nopes, you don't need to sign it. Print the form and with pen mark "N/A" if you are the only principal applicant with no accompanying dependent.

@Musikwala,

You will still need to deactivate your old profile. Basically, on the top left corner of your main page in the job bank (where it says profile is now active), you will have to click on deactivate. That's about it. You can then create a new profile on job bank with a new email address and a new EE profile number.

Hi all,

I am creating a new profile (old EE profile was created in May). Have *NOT* withdrawn my prev application.

While filling in Personal details > Immigration History and Relationships,

Has xxx applied for Express Entry before? >>> Should I say YES here and share my Express Entry file number ???

OR, should I just say NO and move on? I came to know there are some folks who have not yet withdrawn their old EE profile.

Please advice ASAP.

Thanks much,

Hi Tennisstar,

I know a lot of people think answering 'no' to this question is ok.
Personally though, I feel it should be 'yes' as you DID have a profile before.
For me, applying for express entry is the same as creating an express entry profile - so the truthful answer would be 'yes' by that logic.
In any case, they do have your records from the old EE profile (passport number and other personal details) and it may cause issues if you choose 'no' for the aforementioned question.

You can mention the date mentioned in the work permit if you are working and its a permanent job..thats what most of the people have done..

Dear seniors,
I have created my EE profile in the month of January before IELTS and ECA and profile did not meet criteria and found not eligible. After ECA and IELTS we have created another profile with my wife name for better score and got invitation for Ontario nomination. While filling the Ontario provincial form do I need to mention my about my old nor eligible profile. Kindly advise.
