I just finished filling up the OOPNP application form and at the end it generates a detailed checklist. If anyone has questions/feedbacks feel free to post a message in the thread.

The form can be found on http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL_HOW.html (scroll down to where it says "Nominee Application for Ontario EE Streams" and click on text)

Thanks. Eligible for both FSW & CEC but in the application form you have to specify only 1. So i chose CEC. Yes, I can show pof from various sources, multiple bank accounts in my name, savings, chequing etc..

Kindly refer to the application guide http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/prodconsum/groups/csc/@oipp/documents/document/oi_en_hcps.pdf page 16. It clearly says to provide a copy of birth certificate or an acceptable national document where an original birth certificate is not available. (i.e letter from appropriate government authority indicating why your birth certificate is not available.

Based on the above extract from the app guide for OOPNP, i would strongly advise you to get in touch with your government authority to generate such a letter in the event you do not have your birth certificate. First step : contact your parents :)

Hey Dilbert, did you write N/A to some of the questions that were not applicable in the form. If yes, how did you manage that? Say one of the questions related to previous visits to Canada is not applicable to me- how did you write N/A as response to this ques? I tried but i guess this form is protected and is not allowing to write other than the predefined values.

Hey Dilbert, I've got several :)

1. They stress on writing NA and not leave any blanks, what about under NOC Code, my occupation was "unemployed" and "student", should I leave the NOC field blank?

2. Should I add my current Masters study in Canada? To which date, today's? (because there's no "Present")

3. For education, should I provide the ECA with transcripts or ECA only? What about my wife's credentials?

4. My wife is currently doing a masters, the form asks for completed degrees, but should I add her enrollment? Same goes with mine?

5. I have my documents translated from my home country, notarized, but I now live in ON, should I still get them translated via ATIO?

6. Can I use a bank statement from my father willing to support me that's from 7-8 months ago?

Thanks a lot!

Not sure what error you are getting, but i just tried to fill up a dummy form and it lets me put in NA under "reason for visit". DO NOT fill the Province or date for that.

Hello Dilbert,

I met both FSWP and CEC criteria. But I chose CEC.

Do I need to provide my spouse's educational and work experience documents if i am choosing to be assessed under FSWP?

Please advise.

Hi,

1. What is the International Bank Account Number (IBAN) to pay the 1,500 $ ? I live in France.
2. In the Application Guide #4.2 , your EE profile number and your Job Seeker Validation Code are provided. Where do you write them down in the Nominee Application Form ?

Thanks

This one is a bit tricky. Section E of the form is completely regarding work exp and educational history for spouse, although it clearly specifies in bold "Occupation and Education obtained in CANADA". Not 100% sure but you will have to put N/A for that since it specifies in CANADA, but for Section E point 3 it asks for IELTS results for spouse, you can fill that up. If I were you I would be proactive and gather all the documentation for your spouse even if it's not asked, since this is just stage 1, once you get nominated from PNP you would have to submit the documents again to CEC under the EE, not sure if they would ask you at that point.

1) Acceptable methods of payment : Money Order, Cashier/Certified Cheque, Postal Money Order , or Bank Draft. You would have to go to your bank and chose one of the options.
All fees must be payable to the "Ontario Minister of Finance", kindly refer to page 22 of application guide.

2) EE profile number and job seeker validation code is filled at the very top of the application form. http://www.forms.ssb.gov.on.ca/mbs/ssb/forms/ssbforms.nsf/GetFileAttach/005-0205E~2/$File/0205E.pdf
